Return to school letter 2021 – Happy New Year

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to a New Year, I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas break and wish you all a happy and healthy 2021.

I am delighted and honoured to begin this new chapter as Headteacher of Sigglesthorne Church of England Primary Academy.  During the Autumn Term, I was fortunate enough to have met staff and pupils and everyone was extremely welcoming.   Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have worked in village primary schools and appreciate the truly special places they can be, places where every child is known and valued.  As a new year starts, I look forward to getting to know each child and their family and ensuring our school is a strength at the heart of the local community.

Due to current restrictions, I will not be able to welcome parents into school and events in the way I would hope.  However, I look forward to meeting you over the coming weeks and I will be available to meet you when I welcome your children at the start of the school day.  I want to reassure you that I am available to discuss any concerns you may have via e-mail or telephone.

As we continue to navigate our way through these challenging times, I would like to assure you that the safety and well-being of our school community will continue to be at the forefront of all that we do here at Sigglesthorne Church of England Primary Academy.
