  • Sigglesthorne Admissions Policy for 2020-21

  • Between 08 October and 07 December 2018 all admissions authorities for schools in York/North Yorkshire/East Riding/Hull jointly conducted a consultation on admission arrangements for the admission round for entry September 2020.

    The closing date for comments was 07 December 2018.  After considering any comments received, the Local Governing Body has, in its delegated role as admission authority on behalf of the Trust has now formally set these arrangements at there meeting on Monday 18th March 2019.

  • Sigglesthorne Admissions Policy for 2021-22

  • Between 7th October 2019 – 29th November 2019 all admissions authorities for schools in East Riding of Yorkshire Council jointly conducted a consultation on admission arrangements for the admissions rounds for entry in September 2021-22. 

    The closing date for comments was 29th November 2019.  After considering any comments received, the Ebor Academy Trust in its role as an admission authority, then formally set (‘determined’) these arrangements on 28th February 2020.  

    Any objections to our arrangements may be made by parents/others to the Schools Adjudicator by the 15th May 2020.  All objections must be received by the adjudicator on or before 15 May 2020, at: The Office of the Schools Adjudicator Mowden Hall, Staindrop Road, Darlington, DL3 9BG OSA.TEAM@osa.gsi.gov.uk Tel: 0870 0012468 Fax: 01325 391313.

  • Sigglesthorne Admissions Policy for 2022-23

  • This year’s admissions consultation is being jointly held by all admissions authorities in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Wednesday 4th November and Wednesday 16th December 2020.  The consultation includes the admissions policies and number of places available at each school in the year of entry. The views of parents/carers, schools and other interested parties are being sought during this consultation. To respond, you can email:  schoolorganisation@eastriding.gov.uk.

    Following consultation, each admissions authority will formally set (‘determine’) their admission arrangements for admission in 2022/23 by 28th February 2021. Determined policies will be on all admissions authorities’ own websites by 15th March 2021 after which objections can be raised.
