This week the children learnt more about Judaism ….

A huge thank you to Mr Sugarman who came in to speak to us about Judaism. We listened to lots of stories about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses and had the opportunity to ask questions to further develop our knowledge about Judaism.

Celebrating being an Active School

The Pupils were really excited to be awarded ‘Active School’ status by The School Sport Partnership.

Congratulations to the children that took part in the Cross Country at Hornsea Secondary School.

Our amazing children all qualified for the finals on Tuesday 22nd October. Well done!

D-Day 80th Anniversary Celebration

On Friday we held our celebration worship in church to also mark the 80th anniversary of D Day. Members of the Sigglesthorne community had created a beautiful display of hand made poppies to mark such an important event in our history.            

Hedgehogs and Squirrels have a fantastic day at the beach ….

Hedgehogs and Squirrels had a glorious, fun filled day at Filey Beach School. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Filey Infants CE School for hosting  us.  The weather was magnificent!

The Badgers enjoyed learning about food production down on the farm ….

Despite the awful weather The Badgers enjoyed the Food and Farming Day at Driffield. They learned about where our food comes from and the role that the farmer plays in it’s production.

The Foxes have been busy planting and harvesting in Forest School ….

The Foxes have worked extremely hard in recent weeks and were able to celebrate in Forest School. They were able to identify lots of different wild plants in our Forest School, and harvest the peas we planted in April!
