‘Baubles’ – Nativity Performance 2023

The Hedgehogs and Squirrels gave a sparkling performance of their Christmas performance ‘Baubles’.  They were amazing and have worked so hard learning their lines, they sang beautifully and looked so angelic in their costumes.

Roman Day

The Foxes had a amazing day in school when a visitor from Murton Park helped to bring their learning about Roman life, alive.  The children made their own clay pots, they sketched and handled primary artefacts. They also learnt some of the battle formations that the Roman army used!

Eden Camp

The Badgers are learning about World War 2  and along with the children from Riston had a opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom by visiting Eden Camp.  The children stepped back in time and to make the opportunity more realistic were invited to wear clothing worn by children during this time.

The Foxes – visit to Jorvik

The Foxes visited Jorvik! We had the most amazing time, excavating artefacts and touring the Viking village.  The visit brought alive our curriculum learning from this term.

Our talented musicians entered Hornsea Music Festival.

We are incredibly proud of the children that entered the Hornsea Music Festival this year.  The photograph shows a selection of the children who entered.  We had children entered in the Violin and Piano section.  Well done to all who participated.

Our Pupil Parliament representatives attended an event in York with the representatives from the 23 other Ebor schools.  They celebrated their achievements on the Global Goals and talked about the important work they have done in school.
